Women's Grief and Gratitude Retreat

This 2 day camping retreat is held at a beautiful canyon near Santa Barbara and is an opportunity to be supported by a pristine natural setting, a group of women and community ritual, as well as practices of writing, sharing in circle, singing and dancing. After a year of offering day long grief rituals, it is clear that more time together would support a sense of safety, deepening trust and community, as well as our soul's capacity to release and receive. The intention of this retreat is to be with and metabolize our personal and collective grief, as well as strengthen our practices of opening to gratitude, connection, joy and wonder.

We begin at 9:00am on Saturday morning, and complete Sunday afternoon by 4:00pm.

This weekend is offered on sliding scale $225-$375. No one will be turned away due to financial constraints, so please inquire about work trade and other options.

Fee includes camping fees and breakfast on Sunday. Please bring your own lunch for Saturday and Sunday. Saturday dinner is a potluck (details to come).

This is a camping event at Arroyo Hondo Preserve near Santa Barbara, the accommodations are quite rustic. If you have any concerns, please contact me. You will need to bring your own tent and sleeping bag and pad. If you do not have equipment, please inquire as we may have some gear to loan.
