Community Connection & Ritual

In response to the times we are in, please join myself and others for a community gathering, Tending Our Grief - an evening of coming together in song, sharing and simple ritual. This evening event is co-sponsored by the Mankind Project*

It is important that we come together to share and grieve as well as resource ourselves with connection and beauty. We have all been impacted by the slew of recent tragedies. Some have lost loved ones, others have lost home and belongings, still others are injured and in serious condition, and all of us have had our sense of safety and predictability shaken. This is an opportunity to honor our personal and collective grief ~ with regards to the mudslides, fires, sorrows of the world, and other places of grief which often get stimulated in times of crisis - places in ourselves that have not known love, what we expected and did not receive, and the reality that everything we love, we will lose. Grief and sorrow are givens in this life, as a natural part of the human experience, meant to be experienced with others, communally, not in isolation. Grief is intimately connected to our love and gratitude and can deepen us if we allow it.

Offered by donation. Donations will go towards relief funds for families impacted by the mudslides and fire. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Please contact Alexis with any questions. RSVP with Yoga Soup.

Spread the word. All are welcome.
